Cruising is an amazing way to travel. But for those who havent, or not often knowing what to bring is daunting. It is a little different than your average travel. As avid cruisers, we have learned alot. So below we have compiled a list of essentials that will help make your voyage easier, so you can relax and enjoy.

#1 Extension cord

Extension cord with multiple outlets.
Cruise cabins typically have only 1 outlet. With so many devices to plug in, having this is sure to make things better. It will also allow you to have a power source by your bed.
#2 Ziploc Bags

Ziploc bags are so handy for cruising. Great for packing toiletries, and they are also good to carry onboard.
We use them to bring back goodies to the cabin for later or to bring a snack into port.
We also use them to collect sand and sea shells.
#3 Over the door shoe organizer

Over the door shoe organizer.
So useful for shoes and more. Space is limited in cruise cabins. This handy item keeps things off the floor, organized, and easily accessible. From shoes to toiletries, underwear to medication.
#4 Magnetic hooks

Space and storage in a cruise cabin is tight and often lacking. The great news is that the walls are metal. these hooks are essential for extra storage. Jackets, bags, clothing, and more. These are very sturdy, and definitely help keep your cabin organized and clutter off the floor.
#5 Travel hair dryer

This is a must. While your cabin does come with a hair dryer, the cord is extremely short, and the power isn’t ideal, especially when trying to save time. This compact dryer folds and packs nicely, taking up little space, and will cut your drying time in half.
#6 Selfie Stick

If you’re like us and love to capture the amazing destinations you are in, this is for you. Trying to get yoursef in a picture, as well as the landscape is hard enough. Trying to find someone to take your picture is also a struggle. This makes all of your picture taking so much easier. It also has a tripod, making group photos etc. a breeze. It is also compact, making it easy to take with you on every adventure on and off the ship.
#7 Travel toiletry bag

A good toiletry bag is a game changer. This one is my go to, and holds alot. Seperate compartments make it easy to organize every little thing. It also opens in a way that you dont have to dig for anything, so you can unpack it in your cabinor keep it all inside with easy daily usage.
#8 Travel jewelry box

Traveling with jewelry can be a hassle. We used to carry pieces in separate boxes. If you want to change your jewelry throughout your trip and keep it organized and safe you need this. Small, separate compartments make it easy to carry seeral pieces. It also fits perfectly in your cabin safe.
#9 Waterproof cellphone pouch

Beach days, and pooltime are a big part of cruising, and making sure your phone is protected while enjoying those days is top priority. These allow you to capture those fun water moments, worry free.
#10 Towel clips

Cruising, and the beach can get windy. Towels slip and blow away. These handy little things ensure your towel stays put. Keeping it out of the sand, and off the deck.
#11 Locking beach bag

Want to ensure your belongings while having fun in the sun? This bag will hold you valuables, and locks to your beach chair.
#12 Luggage scale

If you are flying to and from the port, this is essential. No one wants to get to the airport and have your luggage be overweight. This will let you know exactly how much space you have for all the souvenirs you want to bring back.
